As a faculty member at the Belmont University School of Music, Todd London teaches applied percussion, ethnic percussion, commercial percussion seminars, and directs the Belmont World Percussion Ensemble. Todd holds the Master of Music degree from the University of Georgia at Athens with a major in Percussion Performance and a Bachelor of Music degree from Belmont University with a major in Commercial Music Performance. As a performer, Mr. London maintains a busy schedule and has most recently been performing with the Belmont Faculty Jazz Group, Coral Bay Steel Drum Band, Music City Steel Drum Band, Rose on Vibes Quintet, Nashville Praise Symphony, and the Anthony Belfiglio Trio.
The Todd London Trio is dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of America’s art form – Jazz. Featuring a repertoire that ranges from classic jazz standards to the sounds of modern jazz, the Todd London Trio takes the listener on a journey through the diverse musical landscape that is jazz in the 21st century. The group is led by drummer Todd London and features Mike Durham on guitar and Carter Murphey on bass. For the piano version of the trio, Anthony Belfiglio joins the group at the piano.
